Everything Else, Oceania

Australian Reptile Park

When my boyfriend Håkan and I lived in Australia, we had the chance to explore everything there is to explore about this country. Even though we stayed there for 1,5 years we only had the time to visit roughly everything worth seeing on the eastern side of the continent.

One thing we were really interested in was the wildlife. The wildlife in that country is unique and can´t be found anywhere else! One of the first weekends we spent in this wonderful country, we drove down to Somersby and went to the Australian Reptile Park. A very famous park that has everything you would like to see.

We bought a much more expensive VIP-ticket, that gave us a private tour “behind the scenes” so we could interact with some of the animals. It was freaking awesome! So worth the 120$ or howevermuchitwas!

These are all the animals we could hug!

Hug! Love love love!

At this park I could cross off not one, but THREE(!) items on my bucketlist. The first on is “Pet a kangaroo”, I have always been a fan of kangaroos:

I´m loving the kangaroos.

The second one was “hug a Koala”:

I´m hugging the Koala.

I mean, come on? Why wouldn´t you wanna hug that fluffy thing? LOVE!

And the third one was “Hold a snake”: (I´ve done this before, but never had a picture to proof it before ;-D)

Holding a snake like a beginner 😀

There were other not-so-hugable animals in the park as well:

Not as hug-able, but equally awesome!

So I´ll give the reptile park 5 out of 5 stars! I loved it! if_star-4_47965if_star-4_47965if_star-4_47965if_star-4_47965if_star-4_47965
